We’ve been in business in the Denver area since 1999, and in that time, we’ve met with thousands of homeowners who needed interior painting services.
We’ve heard horror stories of painting jobs that went awry, contractors that didn’t finish jobs, final costs that were way higher than the original estimates, and more!
How much will it cost to have your cabinets painted? Can you get the estimate in writing, and will the final price be the same as the estimate? We are happy to give detailed, written estimates, and the final cost will be the same as the estimate, unless the scope of the project changes. If the scope does change, we’ll keep you informed and get any extra work or costs authorized. When you get our final bill, you won’t be surprised – the price will be what you expected.
How much experience does the company have in painting cabinets? How many projects have they successfully completed in the Denver metro area? We’ve painted hundreds of sets of cabinets.
How much expertise does the contractor have in painting kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and built-in cabinetry. We’ve successfully completed so many projects that we have the cabinet painting process down to a science, designed to ensure quality work, with as little disruption to your life as possible. We do a large part of the work outside your home (in our mobile workshop, which is a 20-foot trailer that we park outside your home or in our nearby warehouse).
When can the painter start working? And if you’re given a start date, will that date be honored? When we offer you a free estimate, we’ll also talk to you about the timing of the project. If you need us to, we can coordinate with other contractors (such as plumbers, electricians, flooring specialists, etc). We’ll give you a start date and a completion date for your cabinet painting.
How long will the cabinet painting project take, from start to finish? There’s nothing worse than having a 20-hour paint job spread out over an entire month, with painters showing up at your home for only a few hours at a time. We pride ourselves on getting in and out of your home as quickly as possible, while still taking care to provide the highest cabinet quality painting!
Attention To Detail
Do the painters pay attention to detail, particularly in the prepping stages, which heavily impact how the finished cabinets will look? To paint cabinets so that they look brand new requires a lot of conscientious, detail work, throughout a complex, multi-step process. We take off your cabinet doors, remove the drawers, disassemble everything, and then begin our work. We clean and sand the wood, prime and buff the surfaces, caulk, prime and buff again – all before we ever begin to apply cabinet paint.
Does the cabinet painting firm that you’re considering hiring carry liability insurance and Workers Comp coverage? If not, in the event that something goes wrong, you’ll be liable, forced to make a claim on your homeowners policy and/or pay out of pocket. At Walls by Design, we’re fully insured, with liability and Workers Comp.
Warranty Or Guarantee
Does the cabinet painting job come with any type of warranty or guarantee? Our high-quality cabinet painting that resists wear and tear, and we also offer a lifetime of free touch-ups.
Can the cabinet painting company provide references? Lots of them? For projects similar to yours? We’re happy to provide references…just ask! We are also an industry partner as members of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Before And After Photos
Can the painting company you’re considering hiring provide before and after photos of cabinet painting projects? It can be hard to imagine (and believe) that old oak cabinets can be made to look brand new, but we have the photos to prove it! We’d love to show you samples of our painted cabinets – in white, black, gray, even bright colors.
Free Color Consultation
Will the cabinet painters help you choose colors? Most painting contractors hate to get involved in color choices, but we love it! We love design so much, in fact, that we’re a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). When we come to your home to give you a free estimate, we’re happy to provide a free color consultation.
We’d like to believe that, when all is said and done, we’re your only choice when it comes to cabinet painting companies in Denver!
