The beauty of painting cabinets is that you can choose any color you want! Literally, any color you want.
If you opt to replace your cabinets, stain, or reface them, instead of painting them, you’ll be limited in your color selection!
Most of our clients choose to paint their kitchen cabinets white, black, or gray, but some have chosen dramatic colors, such as green or red.
We’re happy to offer a free color consultation.
In general, though, to choose a color for your cabinets, you’ll want to consider the color of:
With kitchens and master bathrooms, in particular, the color scheme in the adjoining room may impact your color choice for cabinets. For example, if you have an open kitchen layout that connects to a great room, you’ll want to factor in the color scheme in the great room. Or, if you have a master bathroom, with cabinetry that can be seen from the master bedroom, you’ll want to make sure your color choice complements or contrasts (but doesn’t clash) with your bedroom colors.
If you have your heart completely set on a certain color for your cabinets that doesn’t “play well” with the color of your walls or ceiling, no problem there. We can easily paint those for you, too. We can also paint your bookshelves, window sills and trim, entertainment centers, fireplace mantels and surround, and more!
