Why Hire An Experienced Cabinet Painter

Some people can do a decent job of interior painting – as long as the work is confined to walls, ceilings and trim. But not many people have the skills, patience, tools, experience, and expertise to paint kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and other types of built-in cabinetry.

In fact, we’re one of the few interior painting companies in Denver that offer cabinet painting. Most other painting contractors do not want to hassle with it, because it requires a lot of prep work and experience to produce consistent, high quality work.

When we paint kitchen cabinets and other types of cabinets, we leave the frames (boxes) in place. This means that you don’t have to remove everything from your cupboards and cabinets. We prep and paint the frames in place, completely by hand.

We remove the cabinet doors and cabinet drawers and work on these in our warehouse. Before we apply paint, we disassemble the doors and drawers, and do prep work:

• cleaning
• calking
• sanding
• buffing
• priming

In some cases, we have to repeat the steps above, two or three times, just to ensure that your cabinets will look brand new when we’re finished.

Once the doors and drawers are properly prepped, we spray paint them, using a special cabinet paint. This paint adheres well and resists wear and tear. By spraying them in a confined, controlled area (our warehouse), we can ensure good, even paint coverage, with no dust or particles attaching to the final finish.
